Quality & Comfort Count in a Baby Changing Table Pad

Thursday, July 21, 2011 @ 07:07 AM  posted by babies are priceless

How important is quality, comfort and a healthy choice for your baby when choosing a changing table pad? If you baby could talk, they would tell you that quality, comfort and healthy sounds good to them considering how many times each day they are laying on it.

A changing table pad manufactured by Holy Lamb Organics gives you and your baby quality and comfort that will last for years, and is an organic, all natural, healthy choice for your baby.

The quality manufacturing of the fibers used by Holy Lamb Organics in creating their hand-made changing table pad is outstanding. The changing table pad cover is made using 8 ounce organic cotton twill, an extremely sturdy upholstery-grade fabric that will last many years. The inside is filled with Premium Eco-wool batting, which holds its shape, does not lump, is thermal regulating, and resists bacteria, moisture and odor. Since the changing table pads are hand made by Holy Lamb Organic, they can ensure the quality of each item.

Babies will feel the comfort every time  they lay on the organic cotton cover that is naturally soft and naturally thermal regulating. The contoured shape helps your baby feel cozy nestled in the middle of the soft cotton, and will help your baby stay in place for your convenience during changing time.  Moms will feel the comfort knowing that the changing table pad is the best, healthiest choice she made to change her baby on.

Using organic cotton and Eco-wool gives your baby a changing table pad that is free of chemicals, pesticides and other toxins. The health of your baby is the most important factor in choosing anything for your babies. A synthetic or non-organic cotton changing table pad is going to lump and flatten over time, plus absorb moisture and odors. When these pads get wet, toxins in the synthetic and non-organic cotton fibers are released. These toxins can be potentially harmful to your baby’s overall health, small lungs and skin.

A Holy Lamb Organics changing table pad is a quality, comfortable, and healthy choice for your baby. It will repel moisture and odor, and will keep its shape for years to come. Special instructions are included with the changing table pad for washing, and if you choose, a moisture barrier pad is available for added protection.

Since this changing table pad by Holy Lamb Organics is made to last, feel free to save it for your next baby, or pass it on to someone else for their baby’s comfort and health.

The Bamboo Choice for Organic Baby Bedding

Monday, July 18, 2011 @ 09:07 AM  posted by babies are priceless

Many Moms do not realize that there really are two choices when it comes to purchasing Organic Baby Bedding.

Organic cotton baby bedding is naturally soft and free of chemicals, pesticides and toxins. Your baby will not be exposed to anything that could be harmful to their health. Since organic cotton is a fiber most people are familiar with, there are quite a few manufacturers, such as Kate Quinn Organics and Lapsaky, and many reliable website stores to choose from.

The second choice for organic baby bedding is bamboo. Just like organic cotton, organic bamboo comes from fields that are regulated and free of pesticides,, chemicals and toxins that can do harm to your baby’s health. Of the few bamboo crib sheets and baby blanket manufacturers around, our USA manufacturer of choice is Bamboosa based on the quality of the bamboo baby bedding.

Organic bamboo baby bedding is extremely soft, naturally thermal regulating to keep your baby cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, is odor resistant, and repels moisture. Which one of these natural attributes would you not want your baby to be surrounded by?

Bamboo crib sheets will keep your baby feeling cozy all night long, and are available in great colors to match your nursery decor. Choose from Purely Natural, Pale Pink, Tahiti Blue, Chicky Yellow, or Sprout Green to create a beautiful baby crib. The purely natural color is manufactured using no dye at all, and the colors are manufactured using a vegetable based dye, the safest dye available.

The bamboo baby receiving blankets are just as soft as the crib sheets and will feel wonderful wrapped around your newborn, or softly covering your baby in his crib at night. Knowing there are no harmful chemicals will give Mom comfort also.

Two choices are always good. Compare the organic cotton to the bamboo baby bedding and make your choice. Both choices are great and equally wonderful for the comfort and health of your baby.

Make the Smart Choice with Organic Baby Supplies

Saturday, July 16, 2011 @ 09:07 AM  posted by babies are priceless

Making smart, more sustainable choices for your family and the environment is simple. Everyone is choosing to recycle, buy cleaning products with no or less chemicals, purchase energy efficient appliances and a/c units, keep the air as clean as possible in your own corner of the world.

Smart and safe choices for your little ones and newborns should be just as simple. Why would you choose to buy baby onesies, baby bibs, or even baby receiving blankets that are full of chemicals, pesticides and toxins harmful to your babies, when it is just as simple and much smarter to purchase organic baby supplies that will not harm your little ones, newborns, or the environment?

Organic onesies, an organic baby blanket, and all other organic baby supplies have no chemicals, pesticides or toxins to make your babies sick, AND are manufactured using cotton from sustainable organic cotton farms.

Isn’t the smart choice for your babies as simple as the choices you make every day for your family and the environment?

Is Wool Organic Baby Bedding for Winter Only?

Wednesday, July 13, 2011 @ 10:07 AM  posted by babies are priceless

When I was growing up in the Midwest, as soon as cold weather hit, Mom would dress my Sister and me in wool clothes to keep the heat in and the cold out. I actually hated that scratchy feel of wool against my skin, and was too young to appreciate how much the wool did keep me warm.

These memories made be believe that wool was for winter only. How wrong I was!

Wool is naturally thermal regulating, whether it is cold or hot outside. That is why most of the quality Men’s suits and jackets are made of wool.

Holy Lamb Organics realized this many years ago, and developed their line of organic baby bedding with an organic cotton cover to avoid scratchiness, and Eco-wool on the inside of their changing table pad, bassinet mattress, Happy Lamb fleece mattress covers, etc. All of these organic baby bedding products manufactured by Holy Lamb Organics are quality you will enjoy, naturally odor resistant, and thermal regulating to keep your baby cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

One additional huge benefit to Eco-wool organic baby bedding is that Eco-wool will not lump like synthetic mattresses do. Your little one and your next little one can sleep on the baby mattress or get changed on the changing table pad for many years and not feel discomfort from lumps.

Keep Pets Cool with Organic Dog Beds and Cat Beds

Tuesday, July 12, 2011 @ 12:07 PM  posted by babies are priceless

Just like humans in the heat of summer, everything seems too hot to touch and unbearable to lay on for your dogs and cats without the a/c being cranked way down.

Organic dog beds and cat beds will give your pets some needed relief from the heat of summer. Not only is the organic cotton cover naturally cooler than synthetics and regular cotton, plus free of chemicals and pesticides, the Eco-wool interior stuffing is thermal regulating to keep your pets cooler in the summer (and warmer in the winter) as they settle in for one of their many naps.

The Eco-wool in organic dog beds and cat beds also resists odor and will not lump like other pet beds available in pet stores and big box stores, keeping your dog or cat comfy and happier when they don’t have to find a spot without a lump. And don’t worry, the outside organic cotton cover is removable and washable!

Be sure to add organic dog toys and cat toys to your list, which are also filled with eco-wool for chemical-free and pesticide-free play time.

Escape the Heat of Summer with Organic Baby Clothes

Tuesday, July 12, 2011 @ 11:07 AM  posted by babies are priceless

I came up to cool country and pine trees to escape the heat of Phoenix for a few days. If you’ve ever been to Phoenix in the summer, you understand the need to clear the heat build-up in your head.

The enjoyment of being surrounded by nature, pine trees, cool weather, rain, and lighting the fireplace in the middle of summer, is almost more than a Phoenix person can bear.

That same enjoyment can be felt by you and your little ones when you surround them with the natural, cool comfort of organic cotton baby clothes. Knowing your baby is dressed in organic baby clothes that contain NO chemicals or pesticides to cause potential health problems will give YOU enjoyment that is almost more than a Mom can bear.

Keep your babies cool, natural and safe this summer with 100% organic baby clothes.

Baby Bib Invitations

Wednesday, May 4, 2011 @ 04:05 PM  posted by StartingOffGreen

I recently hosted my sister’s baby shower. She’s expecting her first child, so I really wanted the shower to be special for her. I invited all of her closest friends with invitations that were shaped like baby bibs.

I went into my collection of old baby bibs and found one that was a little bit smaller than the standard card envelope. I traced the bib several times onto cardstock, cut out the bib invitations, and decorated them with glitter puff paint. I also punched holes in the tops to attach blue and pink ribbons (the gender of the baby is still a mystery). Everyone on the guest list loved their invitations and the other baby theme items at the shower.

Benefits of Baby Booties

Wednesday, April 20, 2011 @ 04:04 PM  posted by StartingOffGreen

Many expecting mothers will fall head over heels for little baby booties for no other reason than the fact that they are absolutely adorable. But baby booties have concrete benefits outside of simply being a cute accessory for your newborn. For one, they serve to keep your baby’s feet warm whether they are sleeping or playing. And two, they protect your baby’s feet from picking up anything dangerous or dirty on the floor.

Serving as a means of comfort and safety, baby booties come in a variety of different fabrics. To that end, they can be purchased in fleece or cotton fabric, or they can be knitted. If you’re looking for a pair of booties that can be used year round, go with cotton. These will be thin enough that they won’t cause your baby to feel too hot in the summer. For those particularly cold nights, pull out the fleece or knitted booties.

Homemade Baby Quilts

Tuesday, April 12, 2011 @ 04:04 PM  posted by StartingOffGreen

Since retiring, I’ve had more time to pursue my quilting hobby. Once or twice a month I meet with a group of other quilters and work on various projects. There are many women who have years of experience and could probably sell their quilts at a considerable profit. I’ve learned a lot from these women.

My niece recently gave birth to twin girls. I mentioned this to some of the women in my quilting group and they helped me design baby quilts for my great-nieces. Though the patterns are similar on each quilt, I personalized them with different fabrics and by adding the babies’ names. I’m sure that they will get lumped together often enough in life, so I figured I’d give them each something that is unique for them.
